This project is Butter’s second open and operating dispensary in Michigan. Constructing the Berkely dispensary was a heavy lift for Butter as it included the demolition of all but two walls of a former stand-alone office building. GEMA relied on decades of its own real estate development experience to not only finance the construction, but also to assist with the budgeting and building process. GEMA’s involvement in the development led to significant savings for Butter which improved their ability to service the debt. This project was GEMA's first foray into lending and represents a big milestone for the company.
